The Society for Information Management celebrated its 2021 SIM Chapter Leaders of the Year last night honoring members from various chapters.

Congratulations to Nellson Burns for receiving the Chapter Leader of the Year award!

Nellson was recognized by Jamie Frost who spoke to Nellson’s many contributions to the SIMDFW Chapter including his multiple Board positions over the years as Chair, Vice Chair, Marketing Chair, etc., and his current roles as Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and Co-Chair for SIMDFW’s NTTC Conference.

Nellson has also been actively involved in the National effort to bring RLF program back to DFW and Texas, and was recently inducted as a Fellow in the SIMDFW chapter.

His more than 14 years of contributions to SIM make Nellson easily one of the most revered members of our chapter. He truly epitomizes what we all strive for in our SIM leadership. His thought leadership and persistent drive to deliver relevant and impactful results help us meet the commitments to our local DFW and National Technology Leadership Communities.
